Business Environment

Global Business Services (GBS) organization, which is part of the Corporate Administration & Shared Services (CA&SS) global function, provides business process outsourcing services to HP internal clients. This dynamic business is looking for financial analyst to provide support to the business and operations management team. Finance is a global resource shared by all parts of our business to help them become better managed and control their accounting flows. We manage accounting transactions and system interfaces into the General Ledger & all aspects of projects impacting the General Ledger.

Job Description

Responsible for providing financial services and consulting on processes, financial systems and projects.

Work closely with internal customers and business partners to proactively identify issues impacting financials and provide decision support to management, streamline Month End Close processes, participate in critical projects, and ensure service delivery.

Key responsibilities also include executing Month End Close tasks, performing foreign currency analysis, process evaluation & documentation.

Expected to take on a lead role in operations or projects.

Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent. CPA preferred.

5 – 7 years relevant experience in Accounting or Financial environment in similar capacity.

Dynamic, highly analytical, with excellent problem solving skills & proven leadership abilities.

Able to exercise independent judgment and make sound decision in situation requiring trade-off.

A team player with initiative, customer focus, & excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

Fluency in English. Knowledge of Mandarin or other Asian languages is an added advantage.

Well versed in MS-Office. Proficiency in SAP preferred.
